HOME SWEET HOME

Motor Court, a collector card, part of the first O CANADA series. Growing up on the EOA (East of Adelaide) part of a small town, the MOTOR COURT HOTEL signified distinct parts of my journey home and to school.  Between the HORSE and my house, I would need to choose to walk past either the cemetery or the strip clubs and car dealerships. Tensions would rise past the horse, knowing I was closer to home and the shit storm my entry would create. Seeing the HORSE across Dundas Street, meant I was free from any familial grasp, and had an hour to myself before the teenage hell of my school day began.
